Have you been looking for some serious protection for the fuel tank on your 3rd generation (96-2002) Toyota 4Runner?

There hasn’t been a commercially available skidplate for the fuel tank until now.

This skid will be a direct replacement for the stock skid. It will be built entirely out of 3/16″ steel (including all mounts).

It is CNC laser cut, bent then welded. It comes complete with all necessary grade 8 hardware and utilizes the OE frame points.

It is bare steel and ready for you to finish with your color of choice (painted red for photo purposes only) .

It is contoured to the shape of the tank which increased ground clearance and drive-shaft clearance over stock.

It has been designed to work with a factory e-locker and aftermarket belly skids from other companies.

I have been asked “why only 5 drain holes?” There are drain holes at both ends and at the lowest points. There isn’t one on the front left corner because this is the most vulnerable corner and the other 5 can handle the drain needs. They are large enough to allow not only water but debris out. They are offset enough that the tank is still protected.

The Lil’ Skips Offroad fuel tank skid has been tested on the trails in Colorado and in Moab.
